In the same way that you can now use toolkits to develop your own website instead of employing a specialist to do that, SmartWorld Connect have pioneered the same build your own toolkit for Apps. So whereas an App across iTunes and Android could have cost £30,000 to develop, now it is free on our Digital Community Hub.
This will allow many local businesses, local authorities and community groups to build their own Apps to support their free and paid for services and engage with other local citizens.
SmartWorld Connect will vet each new App to make sure it meets the technical and content standards required.
